Auction
The auction of the Osnabrück Herdbuch in “Halle Gartlage” is the largest auction place for Holsteins in Germany.
Monthly a large selection of bulls (all proved for service and fertility) is offered and many bulls are already tested genomically.
The milk yield from the fresh milking Holsteins is well over 30 litres and reflects the high standard of conformation of the OHG area.
All animals are tested for BHV1 and paratuberculosis and are also negative for BVD antigen. On sale day all animals are inspected by an independent veterinarian and a California Mastitis Test is applied to ensure udder health.
