This year instead of spending money on small christmas presents and greeting cards, we want to donate it.
In these difficult and challenging times the Osnabruecker Herdbuch eG decided to help the weakest in our society. For this reason we choose to support the project „Die Arche“ (eng. the ark) in Osnabrück. „Die Arche“ provides an open meeting space for schoolchildren from 1st to 8th grade. Here the children get a warm meal and can take advantage of various activities. But also help for their homework or individual tutoring is available for them, either directly on-site or online. Furthermore therapeutic horseback riding is offered and harmony dog Luzy pays regular visits to the young kids. Animal-assisted education is known as an important tool for strengthening the children’s self esteem. In addition „Die Arche“ provides food and children’s clothing for whole families in need.
