After OHG had already received a glass fiber line with 250Mbit / s in February 2021, the mandatory switch to «Voice over IP» (VoIP = Internet telephony) by the network operator will take place in December. The previous ISDN connection will no longer be operated and will be switched off.

Since both Deutsche Telekom and Osnatel are involved in the changeover, the exact time and duration cannot be specified. Considerable impairments to telephony including complete failures are to be expected during the changeover.
The connections to OHG via email and internet will be not affected.
